			VoCLAYbulary of Words and Phrases ~~~~~~~~~~~ Since Clay Aiken entered our lives, 'Claymates' have created a whole new vocabulary. Here we will list out the words and phrases, along with their definitions (when possible). Thanks to everyone who helped with inventing/gathering/submitting these for us! If you would like to add to what we have, please feel free to submit it and we will include it here. • AA -- Aiken Anonymous. Help for those with OCD. But there is no cure. • AcClaym -- to greet Clay with high praise/strong approval • Acclaymation -- enthusiastic approving vote for Clay without an actual count • Aiken2btaken -- the desire to be swept away by Clay • AikenforClay -- how a person feels on Wednesday when they know they won't see Clay again for almost a whole week • Aikengelic -- 1. The sound of a pure, light unstressed tenor voice, as in Clay Aiken's. 2. A face of unsurpassable beauty, usually having sparkling green eyes • Aiken-hand -- a disorder which affects the hand of a Claymate on TuesClay nights as a result of voting for Clay for the entire 2 hours. symptoms include cramping, trembling, and loss of feeling. Note: this is usually only a temporary affectation that is most likely cleared up by sometime on WednesClay, but Claymates should take note that it could become a permanent condition • Aikenized -- An adrenaline rush stimulated by the mere thought, sight, sound of OMC • Alclayholics Anonymous -- the widely needed support group for those obsessed Clay fans • Ameraiken -- a Clay fan from the USA • AntiClaymatic -- When everything else seem disappointing in contrast to seeing/hearing Clay • AutomatiClay -- Something that happens -instantly- in a Clay situation • BC -- Before Clay • Birthclay -- the day you became a Claymate • CA -- Clayholics Anonymous • Cellcert -- when someone at the concert has a cell phone and calls someone at home so they can listen to the concert and they type on the computer what's going on, (usually on a message board) • Chillaiken -- Something that is as hot as Clay! • Clack -- the addictive drug that is OMC; Clay stuff • Clackronym -- a Clay acronym • Clathiest -- one who doesn't like / believe in Clay • Clay -- the greatest singer in music history/real Ameraiken Idol! • Clayatonic -- the state Clay may induce when fans meet him/see him and are alternately thrilled and reduced to stupor/staring/inability to talk or communicate intelligently • Claybec -- for Clay fans who live in the province of Quebec • Claybered -- The successful clobbering of a Claytheist/Clay basher • Claybonics -- the language of clayisms • Claybreak -- that moment in morning when you are awakened by your alarm radio playing Clay tunes • Clayckle -- To laugh at Clay funnies • Claycon/bAiken -- A yummy magical breakfast meat served to the music of Clay • Clayculate -- Figure out how many calls you can make in 2 hours • Claydar -- a Clay fan's ability to tell if something Clay (or Clay himself) is nearby • Claydate -- when moms get together, dump the kids on the floor and talk about Clay for hours • Claydies -- ladies who can't get enough of Clay • Clayddiction -- obsessing over of having a Clay Aiken addiction • Clayssic Claynihilation -- The complete and permanent abolishment of a Clay basher a la what happened to the Wicked Witch of the East! • Clatter -- Clay Chatter • Clayages -- groupings of pictures of OMC • Clayaholic -- one who is beyond "addicted" to everything OMC • Clayaholism -- the disorder of one who is beyond "addicted" to everything OMC • Claybacks -- Clay comebacks (what a witty guy he is!) • Claybee -- 1. Commonly used to refer to OBC, as a baby. 2. A baby that looks like Clay.(Think Regis and Kelly baby look-a-likes on the episode that came on immediately after the episode of the Early Show that Clay was originally supposed to be on.) 3. Another name for OMC, formed by his name and the word 'Baby.' Used as a term of endearment. • Clayble company -- those wonderful folks who give us lots of channels to choose from and ensure that Clay's hottie face comes in clearly each Tuesclay • Claybligation -- A duty to love, support and vote, vote, vote for Clay • Clayburn -- a flat iron mishap on the face or neck (referencing statement early on re: OMC's difficulty using the flat iron) • Clayby Boomer -- (as in baby boomer) Clay fans born during the baby boomer era ... these fans are usually around their 50's • Claycier -- An icy glacier-like lump in the chest, which warms and melts when exposed to Clay's voice • Claycussion -- the state of a fan as a result of fainting when hearing/seeing clay! • Claydar -- that feeling that if you turn on the radio or TV, or open a magazine, you will find Clay there, and voila, there he is • Clay Dawg -- a male Clay fan • Claydreaming -- when you are dreaming, day or night, of and about Clay • Clay-esthenics -- (Mind and eye exercises) the practice of getting up every day and staring at and thinking of Clay. sometimes stretches over a full day. Has been known to relieve stress! • Clay factor -- the thing that you hear the instant Clay sings, the thing that took Clay soo far in idol, (and would have made him win if season two wasn't fixed) • Clayffhanger -- The wait before for results on Wednesdays • Clayformance -- a Perfect performance • Clayfrenzy -- A state of mind whereby Claymates reach the point of total Clay captivation • Claygasm -- Usually used to describe strong feelings of pleasure or emotional excitement when hearing Clay, seeing Clay, thinking of Clay. Like an orgasm, but with Clay • Claygentinean -- a Clay fan from Argentina • Claygon -- takes you away to that special someone; you put in your bath to soak in pure ecstasy! • Clayhesive -- stuck on Clay • Clayhouse -- a house neglected because it's owner is afflicted with Claymania that prevents him/her from doing any chores • Claying -- playing on the 'puter, oogling over OMC, talking about Clay or listening to his music • Clayisma -- the charisma factor that only Clay has! It has the ability to change your life from the first moment you gaze into those eyes, see that bright smile, and when you hear that glorious voice. You can see the Clayisma when Clay gives that devilish grin. • Clayitis -- An involuntary itch/rash that requires a full soundtrack and video of Clay to relieve • Clayken -- it means to be in the state of aiken for clay in other words you cant stand to be alive without him • Claylender -- Calendar with all TuesClays & WednesClays marked with big red hearts • Clay-less -- having missed the opportunity to see Clay, on TV or live. (Example: Did you see OMC on Leno? No, unfortunately I was Clay-less) • Claylicious -- this one's sooooo self-explanatory • Claylike - doing something according to the law of Clay • Claymate -- (if we need to list it!) - HUGE Clay fan (female) • Claymatized -- the glazed look on one's face and absence of all other thoughts while in OMC's presence, particularly during a live concert when he's within touching distance • Claymergency -- when it's intermission at the Clay concert and you're behind thirty women in the restroom line • Claymerick -- limerick that has something to do with Clay • Claymobile -- what you see in the parking lots at Clay concerts • Claynada -- the country for all claynadian Clay fans • Claynadian -- Canadian Clay fan • Claynex -- the tissues we need to wipe our tears when Clay THUDS us in concert and we are reduced to tears • Claynezuelan -- A Clay fan from Venezuela • Claypelipsy -- epileptic seizure when you see Clay, occurs when you have OCD • Clayphobia -- fear of falling in love with Clay • Clayphoria -- The feeling inside when OMC hits those GLORY NOTES! • Clayress -- Clay caressing the microphone stand or himself • Clayrevival -- Claymates experiencing spiritual awakenings when listening to Clay's Gospel songs • Clayrisma -- that magical "X factor" that Clay has that draws people to him • Clayrity -- the purity of Clay's voice • Clayrpean -- European Clay fan • Clayrvoiance -- Clay fans' keen insight into exactly how other Clay fans are feeling! • Claysians -- Clay fans in Asia • Claytastic -- fantastic • Clayter -- later • Clayubenite's -- people who are fans of both Ruben AND Clay • Clayvert -- to convert a non-Clay fan to a Clay fan • Clayzilians -- Brazilian fans of Clay • Clazy -- crazy for clay • Clelly -- a duet (professional or personal) between Clay and Kelly Clarkson • Clirt -- Clay Shirt (Pinstripe or Picture-On-A-Shirt) • Cloma -- the unconsciousness that hits after thudding hard when reading Clay stories, fantasies, drama, etc. • Clouple -- a Claymate and a Clay Dawg together (like couple) • Cleno -- an appearance by Clay on the Tonight Show • Cletterman -- an appearance by Clay on the Late Show • Clewi -- A claymate from New Zealand, like Kiwi • Cluppy -- pictures of Clay with his young dog • Declaydrated -- to have insufficient Clay • EduCLAYtional -- what this voClaybulary IS! Educational about/thanks to Clay! • Exclaymation -- the sound you make (usually a scream of delight) when you see or hear Clay • Friclay -- day of the week • Hawatcha -- his growl he does during the last part of Invisible • KK & Mac -- in reference to Krispy Kreme and Mac & Cheese, the common names for Clay's left and right posterior cheeks, respectively • Monclay -- day of the week • Mediclaytion -- medication we take after meeting Clay or seeing him sing. It helps restore normal breathing and lowers blood pressure. • OBC -- our boy Clay • Oh.Clay -- o.k. • OMC -- Our man Clay • RCA -- Rockin Clay Aiken • Saturclay -- day of the week • Stubblicious -- Clay with just a hint of a stubble beard • Sunclay -- day of the week • The Clutch -- a caress of the torso, causing the jersey or shirt to be pushed askew • The Tug -- involving a moment of deep feeling on the part of Clay, which results in him grabbing the afore mentioned jersey or shirt. There is some pulling of the garment involved, but is more gentle than.... • The Yank -- that aggressive pulling, that causes untucking, unbuttoning, and someday, total annihilation of the garment itself, exposing Clay to us all • THUD -- noun: The sound your heart makes when it crashes to vicinity of your spleen upon hearing Clay growl out 'you, baby'... 2. The overcoming feeling of euphoria upon seeing his lopsided grin verb: thud, thudding 1. the act of melting into your chair at the site of his face. Also, the sound women all over the world make when they hit the floor after hearing Clay sing and being eye frelled! • Thudmat -- what you fall onto after you have thudded from a great performance or picture • THUD-Worthy -- What Clay is when he has women swooning • Thursclay -- day of the week • Totalruben - someone who should not have won or achieved something • Trey Aiken -- Clay's cousin-in-law character from SNL. Similar features, very curly red hair. Thicker accent. Dresses in hick style. Cute! Schmoozes the girls with that same Aiken wink! • Tuesclay -- day of the week • Un-Claymerican -- A non supporting Clay fan • Underclayted/Overclayted -- when things or contestants get less/more praise than they deserve • Valentinesclay -- The day we love clay, which is everyday! • Voclaybulary -- what all this silliness is! • Waldo -- an affectionate nickname for a body part of Clay's that is specific to men.
