I got hooked on Clay the first time I saw his audition, purely by chance I must say since I was never interested in the previous American idol. I was moved by his sweet dorky appearance and his personality, and then he sang. To hear such an extraordinary voice coming from such a skinny body left me speechless. This is when I decided to watch the show faithfully, every week. I just knew at the time that I was witnessing the birth of a legend. Can't explain why. There had to be more than just his extraordinary voice. There had to be some kind of invisible sign that warned us about what was to be his destiny.

I don't remember when was the last time I bought a non classical music CD. My teeny boppers days are long gone. But I know I'll buy everything Clay throws at us. I can't get enough of his voice. It's magical, extraordinary, heavenly, out of this world... I wish there were a better word to express what his voice does to my soul.

In the mist of rumors of war and impending doom, his voice touched our heart and soul. He brought us comfort when the war started. He's become our ray of hope during these dark times we're living through. I will never forget the healing power of Clay's voice and will forever be grateful. Clay's voice is a gift to us all.

Maybe that's what people felt when they heard Elvis for the first time. Clay will be as big if not bigger than Elvis. He already has fiercely devoted fans from all over the world, which is probably unheard of for somebody who was a complete unknown just a few months ago.

His caring personality, his humility, his cluelessness as to why people love him so much make him even more endearing. This young man is such an inspiration and a wonderful example for our children, and I'll be sure to contribute to his favorite charities. Why do we love him so much? He helps us fight hopelessness and brings us comfort, faith and strength. His first CD is a must for those of you unfortunate enough to have missed his American Idol performances. You will be amazed.

Clay, you are God's gift to us all.

I am so proud I got to witness the birth of a legend.

My family watched American Idol unfailing this year, mostly because of Clay. What a joy to watch him grow in both looks and in talent during the 12 week series. He has a quality and power to his voice that is unbelievable. We even downloaded his demo CDs from the Internet, and have enjoyed both his American Idol music, and his previous charity CDs. A musical genius has been discovered!

The mixing of his single is a bit of a disappointment however. Although no fault of Clay's, they mixed the background vocals and choir too loud, which overshadows Clay's powerful voice. To those that don't understand music it may seem that Clay lacks power or clarity. They did the same to his song on the American Idol Season 2 CD. I hope they rectify this problem when they release his CD this coming fall, because other than the talent of the singer, and the quality of the written music, the mixing of a CD can make or break it.

Regardless, this CD is well worth it! His voice is absolutely intoxicating! He is also a wonderful influence and example of charity and humility. I will be a loyal fan for life!
